Biography: 

Most recently Tracey was working on her newest work Miss Shakespeare as part of the Stratford Playwright’s retreat. She conceived and directed Chelsea Hotel, The Songs of Leonard Cohen for the Firehall Arts Centre, which tours this season to Persephone Theatre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and the Arts Club. As a playwright her produced plays include The Great Mountain, Back to You, Garage Alec (a bilingual comedy), The Big Sneeze, Living Shadows; A Story of Mary Pickford and an adaptation of The Jungle Book published by Samuel French. As an actor, Tracey's credits include: Clybourne Park, Blackbird (Citadel Theatre), UBUNTU: The Cape Town Project, Les Miserables (WCT, Theatre Calgary, TheatreFront), La Cage Aux Folles (Vancouver Playhouse), Urinetown andThe Ecstasy of Rita Joe (The Firehall), The Back Kitchen (Arts Club), The One That Got Away (Electric Company), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Henry V (River City Shakespeare Festival).

Tracey has been the recipient of the Elizabeth Sterling Haynes and Jessie Richardson Awards for her work.
