Biography:
Deborah Tennant is an actor and singer who has performed across Canada. She has created many theatre roles in world premieres including The Team on the Hill, by Dan Needles;Vicki in Swing Dance; and Darla in The Philanderess, by Sophia Fabili, which won Patrons Pick at the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival and the Second City comedy writing award. Singing roles include 5 productions of The Sound of Music, including Stratford and Mirvish, as well as Widow Corney in Oliver. Film and TV includes Sensitive Skin, Hemlock Grove, and Music to my Ears. Deborah teaches vocal technique and Music Theatre Presentation at the Randolph Academy in Toronto, and has a busy private studio.
