Elizabeth Moes was born in Saskatchewan in 1957 and moved to Toronto in 1960 where she lived all her life, attending Ryerson Polytechnical Institute Film Studies, 1976-1978, the University of Toronto, Religion & Psychoanalytic Studies, 1980-1990 and O.I.S.E. Secondary English & Social Studies 1991-2. During her undergraduate years, Elizabeth wrote, produced and directed a documentary film Frozen Caution, about the Temagami Native land claim (1986). In 1992, Elizabeth became a teacher of English Literature, Language and Dramatic Arts at the Toronto District School Board where, as well as teaching, she wrote, directed and staged plays until retiring from teaching and moving to Hamilton in 2012. Elizabeths lifelong passion of tarot divination led to a profession as a consultant at Seekers Quest, a boutique she opened in Dundas, Ontario in 2009, now carrying on as a travelling booth at seasonal festivals in and around Hamiltion. Elizabeth is returning to theatrical arts by joining forces with Klyde Broox, dubpoet, as a dramaturge and administrator for a new stage production.
