Stephanie is the founding Artistic Director of The Essential Collective Theate (ECT), a Niagara theatre company committed to the celebration and creation of new Canadian work. an actor, playwright and Acting Instructor. Stephanie has taught at Niagara College, through Carousel Players Artist in the Classroom series and ECT. Awarded an OAC Chalmers Professional Development grant at the Neighborhood Playhouse she then apprenticed both Mr. Stetson and Richard Pinter in Meisner instruction and currently teaches there. An actor with 20 years experience, she has performed to critical acclaim in theatres across Canada and the United Kingdom in the independent contemporary theatre circuit. In 2010 Stephanie was presented with the Niagara YWCA’s Woman of Distinction award in the Arts & Culture. Most recently Stephanie was presented with the St. Catharines Established Artist Award and continues to create, produce and promote modern theatrical work.
