Biography: 

A Toronto director, actor and writer, Sarah is co-director of The AMY Project 2015 and assistant director on the world premiere of Daniel MacIvor’s Cake and Dirt at Tarragon Theatre. Recent directing credits include Part 1 of Pandemic Theatre’s BIRTH: A Trilogy, The Nice Guy (Wrecking Ball #16), Three More Sleepless Nights (Bad Joe/Playwright Project), Savage in Limbo (Bob Kills Theatre). Sarah was director in residence at SoulO Theatre Festival and a participant of Directors Lab North 2014. She has worked with Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, as an Assistant Director with Soulpepper Theatre Company, and has been a member of the Playwrights Unit at Theatre Passe Muraille. In Spring 2015 she directs Antony & Cleopatra (Shakespeare in the Ruins) in Winnipeg. Sarah has been a member of the Stratford Festival Company, a graduate of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre, and has acted across Canada. Recently Sarah played Edna St. Vincent Millay in a workshop production of With Individual Desire by Susanna Fournier, developed by Lady Parts Theatre, in the New Groundswell Festival at Nightwood Theatre.
