Welcome to Equity in Theatre

Rebecca Becket Grace is a playwright, director, actor and producer. She established Roar in the Woods Theatre Company to highlight new works by local playwrights and wrote and directed five plays with the Company. Rebecca's most recent work, Would You Do It Again?, was part of the 2014 New Ideas Festival at the Alumnae Theatre and is currently working on two new short plays. She has performed with many local theatres across the city including East Side Players, Cabbagetown Theatre Company, Village Players and more. She created the Scarborough's Got Talent Festival and co-created the Taste of the Woods Festival, both festivals showcasing local artists, performers, dancers, and singers. Currently, Rebecca is developing a feature film, It's Not for Everyone, and is working with a writing team on a new TV family comedy. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and also studied Screenwriting at G eorge Brown College.
