Born in the East and brought-up in the West, award-winning interdisciplinary artist,
Radha S. Menon began performing in British theatre and television. Her plays have been produced for many theatre festivals in Canada and the U.K. and short films screened at film festivals worldwide. The Washing Machine, finalist of the Woodward/Newman International Playwriting Prize 2012, had sold out crowds at Next Stage Festival 2012. Ganga’s Ganja was finalist of Herman Voaden Playwriting contest 2013. Winner of Toronto Fringe New Play Contest 2015 and then scooped the Critics Choice Award at Hamilton Fringe Festival 2015. Recently, Ms.Menon was nominated as a finalist for Playwright of the Year Award 2015 by The Bridge Initiative- Women in Arizona Theatre and performed a solo show, The Petition (a work-in-progress) at Magnetic North Theatre Festival 2015 in Ottawa. In addition, Menon is an award-winning art director for indie and art house films.
