Biography:
Jane Gilchrist holds an M. A. degree from the University of Iowa where she attended the Writers Workshop. The American author Philip Roth supervised her thesis. Since 1976, she has worked as a teacher, editor, writer, and actor in Montreal. Her plays have been produced in Canada and the U. S. They are about rebellious characters undergoing trials by fire. One of them, however, is based on the Thin Man Films and is quite bubbly.
