Bartley, Pamela Haig

Biography: 

Pamela Haig Bartley (CAEA and ACTRA) is a director, actor and teacher who currently lives in Saskatoon. She has taught in the Department of Drama at the University of Saskatchewan for twenty-plus years and, in that capacity, has won and/or been nominated for the USSU Teaching Award a number of times. Pam frequently directs for the Live Five Theatre consortium of independent theatres (Theatre Ecstasis, Broadway Mime, Brick & Mortar, Paper Cranes for Charlotte, etc.) as well as for Persephone Theatre (the award-winning SKULL IN CONNEMARA, PROOF, THREE DAYS OF RAIN, SECRET LIFE OF THE OCTOPUS). As an actor, most recently she has performed in MY CHERNOBYL at Persephone, TRUE WEST for Live Five (Mead Hall Productions), and HAVING HOPE AT HOME (Globe Theatre). She is the recipient of two Saskatoon and Area Theatre Awards: for design (ANIMALS AND PLANTS) and the Henry Woolf Award for Continuing Achievement in Theatre.
