Donohue, Madeleine

Biography: 

Madeleine was born in Toronto, where she now lives with her husband and two children. She founded the company Down n Out Productions with creative partner Ben Clost, and together they produced five productions at Toronto's Campbell House Museum, and- most recently- two children's productions for the Royal Ontario Museum. Her 2013 play "When The Ice Breaks" premiered at Campbell House before touring to heritage homes and museums throughout Ontario. She has appeared in five tours with the Driftwood Theatre Group, four productions with Theatre Gargantua in Toronto, and was recently seen in "Old Wives' Tales" at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Upcoming: "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with Humber River Shakespeare. When not working on a production, Madeleine teaches drama/Shakespeare workshops to kiddies and teens.
