Biography:
In May 2019, Liesl graduated from the University of British Columbia as a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Theatre. She is a Facilitator for creative writers with Wet Ink Collective Scriptwriting Intensives and RealWheels Theatre Playwriting Circle. Liesl is dramaturg and producer for the Brave New Play Rites Festival and, she practices Conflict Theatre@UBC, an initiative of the UBC Human Resources and Theatre Departments. Liesl is a Jessie award-winning director, playwright, and dramaturg, focusing mainly on creating new Canadian works.
