Kat Taddei is a queer Italian-Canadian writer and performer, and the founding artistic director of Vino Buono Productions. They were lucky enough to begin their theatre training in their teen years at the Belfry, where they completed both Belfry 101 and Belfry 201, as well as a pilot Leadership Training Program. Kat now holds a BFA in writing from the University of Victoria with a specialization in playwriting, as well as a minor in journalism. Kat's work has been produced at the Belfry Theatre's SPARK Festival, Langham Court Theatre’s ACTivate Festival, Impulse Theatre's PEEK Festival, Intrepid Theatre’s YOU Show and OUTstages Festivals, Theatre SKAM’s PopUp Live Series, the Student Alternative Theatre Company, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and the Victoria Fringe Festival.
