Welcome to Equity in Theatre

Jordi Mand is a Canadian playwright based in Toronto. Her first full-length play, Between the Sheets, premiered in 2012 as part of Nightwood Theatre’s 12/13 season in Toronto and has since been produced both nationally and internationally and published by Playwrights Canada Press. Other plays include: co-writer on The Speedy (World Stage Festival/UnSpun Theatre – Toronto), Right of Passage (Theatre Yes – Edmonton), The Knot (Tonic Theatre – Toronto). Jordi is a resident artist of Theatre Passe Muraille. She was the 13/14 Playwright in Residence with Nightswimming Theatre, a past member of the Tarragon Theatre’s Playwrights Unit and the Stratford Festival’s Playwriting Retreat. Jordi is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
