Jeannette Lambermont-Morey has been a professional theatre director for over 30 years. Her credits include eight years at the Stratford Festival as well as productions in theatres across Canada and the United States. Some highlights include critically acclaimed productions of Pride and Prejudice, Henry V and The Miracle Worker at the Stratford Festival; A Midsummer Nights Dream at the Juilliard School in NYC; As You Like It at Bluebridge Rep Theatre in Victoria, BC; The Tempest, The Merchant of Venice and Richard III at the New World Theatre Project in Newfoundland where she was Artistic Director through 2012 and 2013; Dora Award nominated Twelfth Night in High Park, Toronto; and internationally renowned tributes to Harold Pinter and Robert Rauschenberg as part of the Festival of Creative Genius at Harbourfront—to name only a few. For George Brown Theatre School, Jeannette has directed War and Peace, The Beaux Stratagem, Lion in the Streets, Freeze, Bon Ton & The Lying Valet and Rites. Jeannette also teaches the annual Period Study project, and monologue study. Jeannette has also been a guest director and teacher for other university and college theatre programs including, York University, the University of Calgary, the University of Alberta, the University of Victoria, and the Juilliard School in NY. Jeannette is Executive Director of the Shakespeare Globe Centre of Canada.
