Dick, Francine

Biography: 

Francine Dick was born in Toronto.  As Large As Alone premiered at the New Ideas Festival in 2006 and has since been presented at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska and the Great Plains Theatre Conference in Omaha, Nebraska. Other plays include Down Memory Lane, which was performed for the International Centre for Women Playwrights in She Speaks, 2007, Living in Permafrost, presented at the 2010 Last Frontier Theatre Conference and Preparing for Passover, presented at the 2011 Great Plains Theatre Conference. Wedding Night in Canada was a hit at the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival and Summer's End was performed as part of the New Ideas Festival in 2011.  Francine is a single mom of three amazing children, and a strong community activist.
