Biography:
Delia Barnett holds both a BFA in acting from the University of Alberta and a BA Honours from Brock University. She is a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Send in the Girls, an Edmonton based theatre company that presents historical stories using burlesque. A huge advocate of indie theatre, Delia sits on the board for Punctuate Theatre. As an actor Delia has appeared alongside Send in the Girls in Theatre Network's Performance Series, Workshop West's Canoe Festival and soon at The Citadel Theatre. She has also created new work alongside Jamie Northan and Elisa Benzer. As well as worked as an artist in residence at Trickster Theatre- building physical plays with children using their ideas in school.
