Quintana, Christine

Biography: 

Christine is an actor, playwright, and co-Artistic Producer of uber-indie theatre company Delinquent Theatre. As an actor, Christine has played in Saint Joan, She Stoops to Conquer, and the LEAP Reading Series (Arts Club), The Glass Menagerie (Fire Escape Co-op) Mr. Marmalade (Latchkey Co-Op), Of Mice and Men (Hardline Productions), The Wizard of Oz and Seussical (Carousel Theatre), RENT (FCP), and The Madonna Painter and Wild Honey (Theatre at UBC). Christine’s plays include Selfie (commissioned by Théâtre la Seizième and premiering in March 2015), Our Time, and STATIONARY: a recession-era musical (touring to Talk is Free Theatre and the Cultch in April 2015) for which she also served as producer and performer. Christine co-created The Story of You and Me for Hive 3: The New Bees. Directing credits include The Best, Man at the 2012 Vancouver International Fringe Festival and Spring Awakening for Delinquent Theatr e. Christine is Artistic Apprentice with the Electric Company Theatre, Operations Coordinator and Neworld Theatre, and the Program Assistant for the LEAP Program at the Arts Club. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia and is dedicated coffee drinker and animal lover.
