Richards, Cherissa

Biography: 

Ms Richards is a working actor based in Winnipeg. She is a graduate of the UWinnipeg Honours Acting program and has studied at the National Theatre School of Canada. After receiving her MFA degree from York University, Ms Richards spent two seasons acting at the Shaw Festival and has appeared in productions all across the country. Cherissa made her directorial debut at Manitoba Theatre for Young People in early 2016 in its production of “The Power of Harriet T”. You can see Cherissa this year as Queen Elizabeth in "Richard II" at Shakespeare in the Ruins this Spring/Summer and as Siobhan in "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night" in the co-pro with Citadel and RMTC this fall.
