Biography: 

Chelsea is a director, dramaturg, producer, and theatre-making facilitator from Montreal and Toronto. Her work is focused on supporting and challenging artists in a process-based practice that centres courageous risk-taking through care, compassion, curiosity, and collective learning. Chelsea is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, the University of Toronto's Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies program, and holds a Masters in Theatre and Performance Studies from York University, with a specialization in performance ethnography. Directing credits include: UND (NTS, 2021); Mother and Child (NTS, 2021); A Spiral Life (as co-director, Rhubarb Festival, 2020); Safe and Sorry (Lester Trips Theatre); Take it, Easy (Cleen Theatre); A Better Place (Alumnae Theatre, NIF 2016); Grapefruit (Theatre Hera); Salty Bachelors (Ryerson New Voices 2015); This Is For You, Anna (Hart House 2014/15 Season); Commencement: A work of fiction and musical of sorts (Toronto Fringe 2014); This Is For You, Anna: A Spectacle of Revenge (University of Toronto).
