Laliberte, Chantelle

Biography: 

A York University theatre production & design Alumna, Chantelle has been doing wardrobe and props work in Toronto and Southwestern Ontario since 2009. 2015 will mark her third season working for the Stratford Festival, as a wardrobe craftsperson in their Boots & Shoes department. She has been creating with the Blyth Festival in Ontario's Huron County for five seasons, working her way up through various roles to her present one as their Head of Wardrobe. When not working for summer festivals, Chantelle freelances out of Toronto doing wardrobe and props work and is a FOH captain at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Selected show credits include: Costume Design for DINK (NextStage Theatre Festival), Head of Wardrobe for The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble (Factory Theatre), Le Fa Le Do (Théatre Français Toronto), Proud (Proud Productions). Props Assistant on shows The Little Years and Little One (Tarragon Theatre). Chantelle has had some forays into the film & TV world, starting as the Wardrobe Assistant on the 2010 filming of Soulpepper's Billy Bishop Goes to War, and as Production Designer for the Canadian Award of Excellence-winning short film Laughing Out Loud (Chakraa Films). She has also worked with TFO's production department.
