Welcome to Equity in Theatre

One of the creator/actors of the smash hit trilogy Moms the Word, Barbara has worked across all the country in every regional theatre as well as with the Stratford and Bard Shakespearean Festivals. She has also performed in London's West End, Scotland, Melbourne Intn'l Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs twice. A triple Jessie winner and 5 time nominee, Barbara is home on the West Coast where she continues to write, teach, act and direct. She has also adapted a book for the stage, created shows for youth and written for TV as well. Barbara has worked extensively in Film and TV as well, most recently as a lead in two Hallmark movies and on The Killing.
