Biography:
Ann Snead is a playwright living in the Niagara region of Ontario. Her first play, The Jigsaw Puzzle, was produced by Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton. Her second, Choices, won first prize in the one-act category of the Canadian National Playwriting Competition in 2003 and was workshopped by Western Canada Theatre (Kamloops), Gateway Theatre (Richmond, B.C.) and First Draft (Toronto). It was produced by Regina Little Theatre in 2010. Other plays include The Room, produced by Theatre beyond Words; A Touch of Beauty, produced at the InspiraTO festival; and An Ordinary Guy, broadcast by CFBU-St. Catharines.
