Deon, Alison

Biography: 

Alison Deon is a BC-raised, Toronto-based actor, voiceover artist, and dialect coach.

Stage credits include the Stratford Festival, Mirvish, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Capitol Theatre Port Hope, Resurgence, Magnus, Sudbury Theatre Centre, Western Canada Theatre and Gateway Theatre.

On screen Alison has voiced and appeared in many Canadian and US commercials. Recent television credits include Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), The Boys (Amazon), What We Do In The Shadows (FX), Fellow Travelers (Showtime), Late Bloomer (Crave), The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh (Amazon) and the comedy feature Racewalkers (levelFILM). She narrates and directs audiobooks for ECW Press and Penguin Random House.

Alison also works as a dialect coach for film, television and theatre. She has been a guest artist for the Stratford Festival, Shakespeare in Action, the National Theatre School DramaFest, the Canadian Film Centre and George Brown’s Theatre and Acting for Media programs.

She is a graduate of the George Brown Theatre School.
