Ward, Alison Lynne

Biography: 

Alison is an Actor, Writer/Director and Producer. She holds a B.F.A degree in Theatre from York University, a diploma from Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and has trained with the Conservatory program at Toronto’s Second City in Improvisation. She produced and performed her one-woman show "1/4 Life Crisis" in Toronto, Vancouver, Kelowna, Halifax and New York City where it won an Audience Choice Award. In 2014 she directed the short film “15 Years Later” for SYF Productions in Vancouver; and wrote, directed and performed in the L.A. based short film “It’s Not About Kate”. She spends her time between writing scripts and articles, acting and directing for film and theatre, dancing with Shot of Scotch Vancouver, teaching Pilates and producing. Writing Projects: 2004/5: Hungry Woman’s Breakfast (Stage Play), 2005-8: Hot Garbage (Various Sketch Comedy), 2006: A and B (Stage Play Workshop), 2007-13: 1/4 Life Crisis (One Woman Show), 2012: Strut Your Funny (Web Series writing team), 2013 – Present: Hello My Name is Jonathan (Stage Play in Development), 2014: It’s Not About Kate (Short Film), 2014: According To Plan (Screenplay), 2015: The Houseguest (Screenplay)
