Jaime Black is a Metis multidisciplinary artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through the mediums of photography, sculpture, print, and installation she addresses the complexities of history, gender, place, identity, and resistance under settler colonialism.

Join Nancy Vander Plaats (Ontario Disability Services Program (ODSP) Action Coalition advocate with substantial experience in advising artists for reporting council grant income within ODSP) and Rick Miller (Workman Arts’ Media Artist in Residence and ODSP Action Coalition member) for an informal information session, question and answer, and brainstorming regarding the new arts grants for disabled artists and the Ontario Disability Support Programs’ review of their self-employment guidelines.

NUIT ROSE is a free annual festival of queer-focused art and performance that takes place during Toronto Pride. It showcases provocative, cutting edge work by diverse local and international artists, and engages LGBTQ communities, art lovers, residents and visitors to Toronto in unique experiences with art across the city. Nuit Rose returns for its fourth year on SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2017.
