Academics, activists, artists, mothers, kids, community mothers, mother-lovers: Let’s celebrate mothers in the arts and explore the artistry of mothering… Come shake it up with dancers, actors, musicians, and mother-artists!
12:30PM – 1:00PM: Arrive early for Hula-Hoop Mama Amy of HooperSonic: all ages’ hoop jam (grassy area south of York Hall)
1:00PM – 2:00PM: Glendon Theatre: readings and performances from Performing Motherhood (kids’ arts and craft table available)
2:00PM – 3:00PM: Book signing and “rock on” with food, drink, and dancin’
ACCESS/TRANSPORTATION/PARKING
Wheelchair access: Any main floor entrance of York Hall; closest is walkway from south road leading to York Hall, by cafeteria.
TTC: Subway to Lawrence/Yonge Station, then #124 bus east, or 20 min walk east.
Driving: Metered parking available on campus (5$ flat rate on Sundays).
Watch for signs/5 min walk to Glendon Theatre (in York Hall).
