Advanced Theatre Workshop with Tunisian Master Fadhel Jaïbi
This December 5-17, MT Space will be hosting a two-week intensive training course in devised theatre creation led by Fadhel Jaïbi, Artistic Director of Tunisia’s National Theatre. Participants will be given advanced training and deep understanding of devising innovative theatre through the use of inventive methods that challenge the traditional text based play-making.
Fadhel Jaïbi is a highly influential figure in contemporary Arab theatre. His productions are highly anticipated and followed rigorously by thousands of his loyal audiences in Tunisia and around the world. One of the greatest masters of theatre in the Arab world, Jaïbi’s productions have toured widely around the world for the past 40 years.
