Did you see that movie? Which one? That new one with the cop. Yes, with the cop, and she's trying to catch a serial killer? A serial killer, yes, who takes men. Beautiful naked men who end up dead in basements. Yes, and the cop watches TV. Yes, she watches a historical fantasy with a queen. A queen with a harem of writhing, man-slaves. I loved that part. And the queen from that show, she's watching a play. Right, she's watching a play.
Each story provokes the next in this relentless interrogation of gender and violence in film, television and our contemporary lives.
